Steiff RARE "Music Teddy" Bear Caramel Colored Mohair 1950s Jointed Music Belly. This Steiff bear is simply called "Music Teddy".

Produced from 1951 through 1957. He is jointed and made from caramel colored mohair.

His head and door pads are made from tannish peach colored felt. His face is detailed with brown and black glass pupil eyes and brown hand embroidered nose and mouth. Smack dab in the middle of his belly is a red felt circle when it was new it had the word "music" printed in white on it. When this spot is squeezed and released, it plays the sweet Johannes Brahms famous "Lullaby and Goodnight" lullaby Op.

I would want him to go to a loving home where he can continue to bring joy to some child or adult bear lover. No Steiff button in ear placed at the time of manufacture. No other identifier except identified by Steiff specialist. Great condition, no rips, no bald spots, fabric and embroidery in great condition.
