Exceptionally RARE Antique Fully Jointed Mohair. Teddy Bear with Glass Eyes, Padded Paws and Clothes, Assembled with Interior Metal Rods.

Condition : Good - VG // There is wear to snout-- top and side. Excelsior is exposed around front of neck. In need of TLC i. Feet and paws are in VG condition. Stitching on nose and mouth is all but gone.

The body under the clothes is cloth and is excelsior filled which is h. Eld together with metal rods. Possibly maybe homemade, from a kit perhaps?

The clothes are faded from being left in the sun. SEE pictures, as they are part of the description.

Measurements : Approximately 16 x 7.5 x 4.5 (laid down with arms to side). Additional Info : F ully jointed (head and limbs rotate), e xcelsior (straw) filled mohair. Teddy bear (that looks like a fox) with glass eyes and felt pads to paws (feet only). Knees and elbows are also jointed, which I've never seen before. // Possibly maybe German made. I have several reference books on antique teddy bears, and I've yet to see anything like it.
